Calvo in DC for President' task force

Guam - Following the Micronesian Chief Executive Summit in Saipan, Governor Eddie Calvo has made his way to Washington, DC to participate in the first meeting of the President's Task Force on Climate Preparedness this week. It was last month when Governor Calvo was appointed by President Barack Obama along with two-dozen other state, municipal and tribal officials through the U.S.

The governor's office tell KUAM that Governor Calvo will be making a presentation on his priority policies for climate change that were developed with input from the other Micronesia chiefs during the summit.
