Guam - Two people who were arrested and charged with making counterfeit money will plead guilty. Michael Badar and Reneelinette Mesa have signed plea agreements with the federal government admitting to making the bogus bucks and then trying to pass them off for real cash. The couple washed genuine currency and then scanned $50 bills on top to make it look real.
It's estimated they made ten thousand dollars worth of the fake money. The two face up to a maximum of 25 years behind bars.
Badar is scheduled to officially change his plea on December 3.
