Chinese Chamber of Commerce donates nearly $29K to Philippines

Guam - The Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Guam raised $28,975 and donated the funds to the American Red Cross Guam Chapter to go toward ongoing relief efforts in the Philippines. President George Lai and other CCCG members as well as those who contributed were in attendance for the check presentation. 

Red Cross President Chita Blaise and Consul Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian of the Philippine Consulate General on Guam graciously accepted the donation that will be used in various ways to support the victims of Supertyphoon Haiyan, the biggest recorded typhoon in history, which recently devastated parts of the Philippines.
