Guam - Three people who were busted in a drug sting for selling and manufacturing marijuana pleaded not guilty in the Superior Court of Guam today. Police Officer Roy Pablo, his common-law wife, Ah-Rum Kim and her brother-in-law Stephen Kim all remain behind bars accused of having a fully functional marijuana grow operation, as well as "'shrooms" and a hallucinogenic street drug.
Pablo and Ah-Rum Kim both asked to be released to third-party custodians but the court told the defense to submit those motions to Judge Alberto Lamorena when they appear for a criminal trial setting on November 27. Ah-Rum and Stephen Kim both asserted their right to a speedy trial while Pablo waived that right.
He remains on administrative leave from the Guam Police Department.
