Guam - October proved to be a slower month for tourism as the Guam Visitors Bureau released the figures. The island welcomed more than 101,000 visitors last month which marks a 2% decrease when compared to last year. While Japan and Korea arrivals were down, GVB notes that arrivals from the People's Republic of China is up nearly 40% with Russia up 15%. Even with the numbers, the agency notes that year to date arrivals are still up 2.5 % when compared to the same period last year.
