Guam - Police are asking for the public's help in locating a red- or maroon-colored truck that struck an elderly woman who was crossing the street.  Just before 1 o'clock on Saturday morning, police responded to Route 1 by Pats Window Tinting.

Guam Police Department spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the driver of the truck was in the middle lane heading south when he hit the pedestrian, which resulted in a motorcycle crashing his bike.  The truck fled the scene while the woman was pronounced dead.

She's believed to be Asian, in her 70's.

Anyone with information about her identity or who has information about the driver of the pickup truck is asked to contact police at 472-8911 or Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP (4357).
