Guam - The inaugural meeting of the Mariana Islands Legislatures Association is set to take place on Guam this week. According to Speaker Judi Won Pat, seven senators from the Saipan Legislature and eight members from the House will be meeting with lawmakers for the first MILA meeting to share common issues affecting the region.

She said, "The first subject has to do with agriculture and free trade and I know there's a big concern about livestock. The next morning will be on the cruise liners between Guam and the CNMI and other places and then on the afternoon, it will be on health and hospital, clinics and public health."
