Calvo Enterprises donates $3M to UOG

Guam - It marked the single largest donation in the history of the University of Guam as Calvo Enterprises this afternoon donated $3 million to the UOG Endowment Foundation.  President and chairman of the board of Calvo's as well as former governor, Paul Calvo said, "As we all know education is the best investment that we can provide for our future leaders and higher education at that."

Investing in the future of our island the donation will go towards the UOG Capital Campaign to support the building of a 21st Century UOG campus. UOG president Robert Underwood said, "It involves student services centers, school of engineering annex, Triton Engagement Center a new fine arts auditorium there's a number of new buildings that are planned so we are hoping that the money that we raise will provide us the endowment and financial base from which to build this on."
