Four indicted in counterfeit money scheme

Guam - Four people have been indicted in the District Court of Guam in connection with counterfeit money. Michael Basilio Badar, Reneelinette Mesa, Ok Ja Cho, and Brian B. Guerrero are named in the federal indictment.  Badar and mesa are charged with possessing and making the bogus money, while Cho and Guerrero are accused of trying to pass off the counterfeit in exchange for real currency. 

According to the federal complaint, Badar and Mesa admitted to using a process known as bleaching to make more than 200 counterfeit bills. 

An initial appearance is set for November 13.
