Wet days may be ahead

Guam - Wet weather may be in store over the next few days as Tropical Storm Haiyan makes its way past the south of Guam.

NWS meteorologist Ken Kleeschulte said, "It's going through Chuuk now its just gone past Chuuk Islands heading towards Yap and north of Koror and Palau but it could bring some showers to especially the southern part of the island."

The storm's closest point of approach is anticipated for Wednesday at about 250 to 300 miles south which means the south of the island may see rain and some gusts of wind of about 25-30 miles per hour, Kleeschulte says island residents shouldn't feel much of the effects from the storm.
