Man could do three years for stealing power

by Sabrina Salas Matanane

Guam - Timmy Hernandez Quidachay faces three years in jail after being found guilty of stealing electricity from Guam Power.

Hernandez was busted two years ago for an illegal hookup in the jungle area of Okkodo in Dededo.  he admitted to police he was responsible for an illegal connection he crafted by attaching a wire to the main powerline and routed to two other homes nearby. Attorney General Leonardo Rapadas says this conviction should serve as a warning to others who may be stealing utilities in that his office will find you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law.
