Guam - The fate of accused drug kingpin Mateo Sardoma, Jr. and his alleged accomplices Maria Edrosa and Rudy Sablan lie in the hands of a jury. Jury deliberations began today after several months' trial and two days of closing arguments.
Defense attorneys have described the government's case as full of holes and witnesses who provided consistent inconsistent testimony. Witnesses were also described as "crapping all over the truth". The government however maintains the trio were part of a secret conspiracy to import and distribute $2.5 million worth of crystal meth in Guam.
