Guam - The Judiciary is conducting an internal investigation into an incident that happened at the Agana courthouse last week. KUAM News has learned that a man entered the courthouse and cleared the screening area when he allegedly punched another court patron.

When Marshals apprehended the individual, we were told that they found a knife and a slingshot inside his bag as well as an almost empty bottle of liquor. How that managed to clear security is apparently what is under investigation.

Court policy, planning and communications director Josh Tenorio would only confirm there is an ongoing internal investigation into an incident involving a court patron and said that any breach of security at the courthouse would result in an internal investigation to confirm the facts and a recommendation for corrective action.
