Guam - The Guam Environmental Protection Agency is teaming up with the Department of Agriculture's Forestry and Soil Resources Division, the Bureau of Statistics & Plans, the Inarajan Mayor's Office, and the Southern Soil and Water Conservation District to host this weekend's Ugum Watershed tree-planting event.
Volunteers are needed to plant native plant seedlings along a two-mile stretch of roadway leading to the Layon Landfill in Inajaran.
Volunteers who own bicycles are encouraged to bring them to help transport trees along the route and to the site.
The event starts at 7 a.m. on Saturday, October 19.
