Guam - A year after it was first reported that two female minors, a 7-year-old and a 4-year-old were sexually molested repeatedly over the course of a year by Muki Joseph Redhat Callahan, the matter has finally reached its end. According to a statement released from the Attorney General's Office, Callahan was convicted Wednesday of four counts of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct and five counts of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct as a 1st degree felony.
Callahan faces 15 years to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for each of the four counts of 1st degree CSC and five to twenty years imprisonment for one count of second degree csc. His prison term will be determined by Judge James Canto.
Meanwhile, Attorney General Leonardo Rapadas credits the successful prosecution and conviction to the victims stating, "They were so brave to take stand…to relive the horrendous molestation that happened to them at such young and tender ages."
Sentencing for Callahan is scheduled for December 16.
