Guam - Police responded to a strong armed robbery near the Pacific Bay Hotel.  Two Japanese tourists were walking on the sidewalk when two men jumped out of a green vehicle and stole their handbags from them.  GPD spokesperson Sergeant Liz Flickinger says because the bags were across their bodies, the suspects had to struggle to get them and the victims were dragged to the ground and suffered minor injuries.

The first suspect is described as having a dark complexion standing about 5'7" with a medium build. He was wearing a black shirt and dark beanie cap. The other suspect is described as standing about 6'2" wearing a dark ball cap.

The two got back into the car that headed north toward Route 14.
