Man dead after being hit by car in Tamuning

Guam - The Guam Police Department is searching for the driver of a vehicle that hit a man early this morning in Tamuning and fled. According to police spokesperson Liz Flickenger the man died from the injuries he sustained. He was walking along Route14 near Toy's Tavern at around 1:30 Sunday morning when he was struck by the car which then fled the scene. The identity of the man who died has not been released. He is only described as being in his 50's. If you have any information about this incident you are urged to call Guam  Crime Stoppers at 477-4357 or text 688-STOP.
