Guam - If you haven't checked out the Guam International Film Festival yet, you still have some time to do so. And today a panel of local and international filmmakers featured in GIFF 2013 shared their insight on the passion for filmmaking.

Porter Erisman's "Crocodile in the Yangtze" documentary is featured in the festival and says GIFF 2013 is just as professional as other's he's intended internationally. "Even though it's in the start-up phase, the festival could really become a hub for the region for creativity and filmmaking," he said.

GIFF head juror Tom Brislin meanwhile says it all comes down to the story when judging all the showcased films. "The things that I look for are films that give a voice in some way, a voice that represents a particular cultural perspective and gives a voice to the voiceless, a voice that we've never heard before," he said.
