Senator Respicio reveals future budget allocations for GPD Tumon Precinct

Posted: Updated:

GUAM - Senator Respicio says many of the Republican measures were simply duplicates of what the Democrats have proffered and provided for already.

For instance, Respicio has since called on the Chief of Police Fred Bordallo to move on half a million dollars in supplemental funding for more police officers and to support the operations of the Tumon Precinct. He says the funds have been available for the past nine months and have only been partially encumbered for computer equipment, two police cars and is processing the personnel action of one new police officer. However, after all the transactions are done, over half of the supplemental funding will remain and has asked Chief Bordallo for an accounting of GPD's plan to use the remaining funds.
