Rojas brings Guam issues to national level

Guam - Ensuring Guam is part of the conversation in the nation's capitol is top priority for Jay Rojas who serves as the director of the governor's Washington DC office. Rojas addressed Rotarians today to brief them on his duties.

"In essence what I'm doing is I'm meeting with federal agencies that are out there working with Capitol Hill and Congresswoman Bordallo but then also with the administration to say these are some of the things that Guam wants to succeed with," he said.

Topping the list of Governor Eddie Calvo's initiatives: military buildup, the China visa waiver program, and addressing unfunded mandates.
