Groundbreaking held for Mangilao bus stop

by Ken Quintanilla

Guam - The work continues on First Lady Christine Calvo and the Rigalu Foundation's "This Bus Stops Here" permanent bus shelter construction project as another groundbreaking was held this time in the village of Mangilao off Route 10 along University Drive.

Coast360 Federal Credit Union donated $20,000 to aid in the new bus stop which will be double the size of the average bus stop as over 100 students are known to be picked up and dropped off there daily. The bus stop is set to be completed in the next 60 to 80 days.  But the work doesn't stop here as the First Lady also announced that another bus stop will be constructed on Route 15 as well in the coming weeks.
