Guam - The public will start to notice some changes to the look at the Guam Police Department as management intends to bring back the old light blue uniforms.  GPD spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia says the police chief made the decision to return all staff officers and brass, lieutenants and above, to the old traditional light blue uniform after gathering consensus that it is preferred over the current dark uniform.

He says there are no plans at this time for the entire department to revert back to the old uniforms.  That decision will be made later.

The old uniforms must be fully implemented by January 5.
