Guam - Title issues continue to delay repairs to a pair of Merizo bridges.
Department of Public Works director Carl Dominguez says he's confident DPW can acquire the land necessary to expand the Pigua Bridge, but more work needs to be done to secure the land for the Bile Bridge, which may require eminent domain.
Dominguez says the pair of bridges must go out to bid together as a packaged deal, resulting in the holdup.
Once both properties are secured, Dominguez hopes to have both out to bid before the end of the year.
Until then, both bridges remain limited to one-lane traffic.
