Guam - It appears more students are hitting the books this semester.
According to a release from the University of Guam, UOG admissions reports a two percent increase in enrollment this fall.
That brings the count of registered students to 3,770 which is expected to rise to nearly 38-hundred by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, the Guam Community College also reports increased enrollment by three-percent bringing registered student numbers to over 2,600.
This is welcome news as national trends show decreasing enrollment in higher education.
