Guam - 22-year-old Curtis Jay Santos was killed on Sunday morning from injuries he sustained in a two-car collision in Piti. GPD Highway Patrol officers are investigating the crash. Police say two cars were traveling northbound on Marine Corps Drive when the operator of a silver Toyota corolla passed the other vehicle and then made an abrupt u-turn, causing the two cars to collide.
All occupants were taken to the Guam Memorial Hospital and Santos died several hours later. His death marks the 11th traffic-related fatality of the year.
No arrests or citation have been issued.
