Guam - A new medical clinic has opened up shop in the island's most populated village.

IHP Medical Group celebrated the grand opening of its Harmon facility and its radiology department this afternoon. With an ethnically diverse group of providers the practice is dubbed International Health Providers. Clinic administrator Jerry Crisostomo said, "There are ten physicians or providers that are affiliated with IHP Medical Group - we have three internal medicine or internists two family practitioners one pediatrician one physician assistant and two nurse practitioners."

Despite being the "newest kid on the block" IHP's medical staff has been around for some time.  "But our physicians our providers are probably one of the most experienced in their field. Our location is in I consider the metropolis of Guam," he said.

Spread out over 7,500 square feet the clinic features 13 exam rooms, 2 urgent care treatment rooms, a lab, x-ray, and pharmacy. "The clinic is set up so that the flow of patients checking in and checking out should make it easy for them and much faster pace than probably most clinics. The lobby itself is not the typical medical clinic lobby it's almost like a star bucks," he said.

Crisostomo says IHP is a full-service primary care medical facility focusing on family and adult medicine including urgent care services, as well as general and preventative health care for all ages. Crisostomo says IHP is committed to providing comprehensive services while the promoting health and well-being of the local population and tourists by providing accessible high quality medical care to ensure this Crisostomo says IHP accepts all forms of insurance.
