Guam - DPW is ready for the new school year with a fleet of 124 out of 138 buses given the all clear to hit the road on Monday. According to DPW director Carl Dominguez, a majority of the school buses have a 60-passenger capacity while 10 of them are the new 84-passenger buses. As we reported a protest is currently underway involving the 10 new buses however Dominguez tells KUAM that, "The protest will take course but the buses belong to GovGuam and DPW and unless a court orders me not to use them then they will be on the road Monday."
He adds that there are just enough buses to cover the 174 routes on island. The bus schedule is available online at dpw.guam.gov.
