Hundreds show for immunization clinic

Guam - Hundreds of children took advantage of the Department of Education and Public Health's TB Immunization Outreach Program held over the past two days at the Micronesia Mall.

Julietta Quinene is DOE's community health nursing service administrator, and said, "To have a TB skin test is part of public law they have to be in school so of course this is a great outreach in our community we want to make sure our students are compliant and ready to start the school year on Monday."

On Wednesday Quinene says 250 individuals took advantage of the program of that number 178 received a TB skin test. As of 11am this morning 118 individuals took a TB skin test.   Readings of the results will be conducted on Friday and Saturday also at the mall.
