Summer campers presenting "The Jungle Book"

by Krystal Paco

Guam - If you're looking for a fun family night out, the UOG Summer Theater Camp will be presenting The Jungle Book by Tracey Power.

Camp director Tina Calilung says it's the first year the camp is run by theater graduates and theater students. She says the show will feature its 17 campers who are excited to perform showings full of audience participation.

"Jungle Book is actually about a coming of age for a child that was raised by wolves and is actually realizing that he's a human now he's trying to find his place in life," she said.

Showings are at 7pm on Thursday July 18th and Friday July 19th at the UOG Fine Arts Theaters. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and can be purchased at the door.
