Guam - Early this morning a woman lost her thumb after a heated argument with her husband. Guam Police Department spokesperson Art Paulino tells KUAM GPD was dispatched to Naval Hospital this morning for suspected family violence.
Interviews with husband and wife show that during the argument, the woman assaulted her husband using a lanyard and keys. The man in an attempt to stop her pulled hard at the lanyard and severed her left thumb. No arrests have been made.
The case has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigation Division.
