Guam - In honor of Philippine Independence Month the Department of Chamorro Affairs, the Guam Museum Foundation in collaboration with the Guam Humanities Council has put together the Camp Roxas Exhibit.
Department of Chamorro Affairs planner Simeon Palomo said, "To recognize Camp Roxas, which was instrumental in rebuilding Guam after World War II."
The exhibit features a photographic exhibition titled "A Journey Home: Filipino American History in Guam", a 20-minute Camp Roxas film project titled "Under the American Sun" and a display of artifacts such as newsletters and religious items from Camp Roxas residents.
The exhibit is featured at the Latte of Freedom in Adelup and ends July 10.
