Guam - Guam Army National Guard Corporal Dwayne W. Flores was welcomed back to American soil today.  Flores and SGT Eugene M. Aguon were killed in action while on deployment in Afghanistan.  The two were part of a convoy of coalition forces that were targeted by a suicide car bomber last Thursday in Kabul.

Flores, from Sinajana, arrived at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Sunday Guam time. No details have been provided about a similar ceremony for Aguon, who is from Mangilao. Governor Eddie Calvo was informed that a Dignified Transfer of Remains ceremony was held in Flores' honor.  The Governor's Office says Flores' mother and sister attended the brief ceremony.

The Guam Army National Guard has not released any information about the casualties and the Department of Defense has not officially identified the Army casualties.  The Governor's Office has not received any additional information on when CPL Flores and SGT Aguon will return home to Guam to be laid to rest.  The governor, on Saturday, declared the island in a state of mourning for the deaths of the two
