Cruz hoped Adelup would have testified on Bill 102

Posted: Updated:

Guam - In response to Governor Calvo's statements on Bill 102, Vice Speaker BJ Cruz tells KUAM that he's glad the Governor stated his position and wished he or someone from the front office would have testified on the bill. He adds it was the CSC who came to his office with the Bill and was trying to help the department head under his committees purview. Cruz says we was misled to believe that this had front office approval considering it came from Lamorena and says he knows now not to trust any department who comes forward with legislation unless they have in writing in blood from the Governor that it has front office approval. And considering how the governor said he would veto the bill, Cruz says there's no sense in passing the bill and will not move forward with bill 102.
