Guam - The draft final design for the closure of the Ordot Dump has been completed. Federal receiver Gershman, Brickner & Bratton reports that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will be conducting technical meetings in San Francisco later this month as officials work to ensure the final design plan for the closure of the Ordot Dump meets all regulatory requirements.

USEPA requested that two Guam EPA staffers participate in the technical meetings as well as the receiver's project manager.  The court has authorized the receiver to pay for the travel costs associated with the three individuals' travel.

The technical meetings will be held in California on April 30 to May 3.
