Guam - A press conference for the 2013 XTERRA Guam was held at the Sheraton this morning. The professional triathletes competing in the event were in attendance answering questions about the course and what they have done to prepare for the race. The XTERRA Guam is scheduled for this Saturday and consists of a 1.5K swim, 30K mountain bike and 10K trail run.

This year marks the 18th consecutive year of XTERRA racing and 8th straight year for the sport on Guam. This is also the 2nd XTERRA Guam Championship race that provides $15,000 in prize money for pros and 40 qualifying spots to the XTERRA World Championship for amateurs.
