Guam - 76 Circle K held their 4th Annual Paddles Against Cancer
fundraising event at the Matapang Beach over the weekend to benefit American
Cancer Society's Relay for Life. 24 teams participated in the competition to
help raise funds in the battle against cancer.
Nicole Murphy, SPPC Guam Systems Administrator said, "This
year we have 24 teams participating. A big thank you to all our companies who
came out again. We have a few new teams that joined this year including a
family who wants to help with the fight against cancer. Also this year we have
our 2 news boats, our 2 new canoes that we blessed this morning by our sponsor,
76 Circle K. We want to thank everyone for coming out, all the companies who
support our cause and come out here in the spirit of paddling to have fun and
enjoy the time with their families and fellow employees. And most of all to
remember our loved ones as we raise money for relay for life."
