Guam - St. Francis School in Yona is celebrating a significant milestone - a ceremony was held this morning to dedicate Guam's largest privately owned photovoltaic renewable energy system.  The photovoltaic system was installed at no cost to St. Francis under an arrangement known as a power purchase agreement.

Pacific Solar and Photovoltaics is the designer, supplier and installer of the system. The project was financed by the Bank of Guam and is owned by PAC Sol Generation, LLC. 462 solar panels cover almost 8,000 square feet of roof, producing over 15,000 kilowatts of power per month or enough power to support 15 average homes.
