Guam - This year's Miller Football League championship game is set
for this Saturday at the U.O.G Field at 2:30 pm. Making their way back to the
title game are the Pepsi Warriors. The Warriors picked up the 41-0 win against
the Chili's Falcons to earn their way back to the big show. Pepsi went to their
running game punching in 5 touchdowns on the ground, backed by a defense that kept
the pressure on the Falcons offense. This year's Pepsi Warriors team ended the
regular season undefeated at 6-0.
Meeting the Warriors in the title game will be the defending
champions Cars Plus Rams looking to defend their title. The Rams defeated the
IP&E Hal's Angels 7-6 on Sunday to head back to the big game. Quarterback
Will Williams rushed for over 100-yards in the win hooking up with wide
receiver Fabian Garces on a 26-yard touchdown for their only score of the game.
Williams finished the game 12/21 for 137 yards passing. This Saturday will be a
rematch of last year's title game where the Rams defeated the Warriors 26-13.
