Guam - John Laing and the Guam Motion Picture Company have made good on a settlement agreement with the Guam Economic Development Authority. The payment is the final installment of a $350,000 settlement agreement for an $800,000 loan guaranty that was provided years ago to the company for the production of the blockbuster flop Max Havoc: Curse of the Dragon.
GEDA had sued the company and the company and agreed to settle the matter if Laing came up with the $350,000. Officials confirm they received the last payment earlier this month.
