Guam - In MFL football the IP&E Hal's Angels picked up the
38-26 win over the Car Plus Rams over at the U.O.G Field. With the win the
Angels move into a tie for 2nd place with the Rams putting both teams at 2-2
this season. The Angels kept the ball on the ground late in the game to keep
the time running and the chains moving. Quarterback Steve Phillips controlled
the offense hitting his receivers for big gains to put the Rams defense on
their heels. The defense for the Angels played big coming up with a couple of
sacks late in the game as Will Williams and the Rams offense looked to get back
into the game. In the end the IP&E Hal's Angels controlled the time of
possession and held on for the win.
