Warriors dispatch Angels in defensive slugfest

Guam - In MFL Football, the Pepsi Warriors keep their record perfect at 3-0 after earning the 13-6 win against the IP&E Hal's Angels. Q.B Danny Manibusan with the first down run. Running back Hosea Ware went in for the first score of the contest in the 2nd quarter to give Pepsi the lead 7-0 after the PAT was good. Defensively the Warriors held the Angels out of the end zone throughout 3 quarters of play. Ryan Rios with the sack here. The Angels would sustain a drive early in the 4th quarter after moving the chains with runs. Angels quarterback Steve Phillips would punch it in from a yard out. The last score of the game came from a Lingo Quichocho 4 yard reception as time expired giving the Warriors the 13-6 win.
