Guam - The defending MFL football champions Cars Plus Rams will take to the field this Saturday against the Pepsi Warriors in a rematch of last year's championship game. The two teams enter the game with both teams winning their season openers. The Rams have the edge heading into the contest after taking all 3 meetings last year. It's a new season for the Rams with several key players not on the roster but new additions added to the team.
Will Williams lines up under center while all-star running back Jesse Manglona and wide receiver Danny Cepeda help out offensively. On the defensive side of the ball the Rams have a big D-line with solid linebackers that can cover sideline to sideline with the help of a secondary that can cover the length of the field. For the Pepsi Warriors it's going to be their running attack that's going to dictates the flow of the game. The linemen of the Warriors are one of the most physical up front and wide outs Sandy Fejeran and Alex Azcarraga can definitely stretch the field.
Ryan Rios anchors the defense alongside Manny Cruz, Justin Andre and Gene Arriola up front. Alex Azcarraga and Sandy Fejeran will help out in the secondary along with the return of KC Cruz at safety. Kick off is at 2:30 pm at the U.O.G Field.
