Guam - The 2013 MFL Football season is set to get underway this weekend at the UOG Field. 4 teams will take to the gridiron for a chance to walk away champions of the league. Making their appearance to the league will be the newly formed Chili's Falcons.

Head coach Dennis Williams told KUAM Sports, "We are a new team in the league this year. We have a lot of young talent, a lot of young guys but we are loving it. We are out here trying to make the best of a good thing. American Football is a great sport and we plan to make some noise this season. One of the strengths is the guys desire, these guys really want to truly succeed and I am here to help them do that. One of the weaknesses is lack of experience with some of these guys and some of these have never really played organized football. Even though they may have the size and speed but with the combination of heart and true effort I think we are going to be ok. I would warn the rest of our opponents to not underestimate us because we are coming and we are bringing it."

The Falcons are scheduled to play the Angels this Sunday at 2pm at the UOG Field. The team is young but ready for the up coming season.

Zach Morganzano said, "We have a pretty big line. We are working on our run plays, we pretty much have the passing plays down and we are going to try and score some touchdowns. We are trying to get the team to glue together and let everybody know where they need to be on the field during game time. We are looking forward to playing some Falcons Football this year."

If anyone is interested in playing for the Falcons you can contact Eliza Cruz at 797-1319.

Benny Manglona added, "We are working on some techniques, footwork, impact drills and learning how to read the offense. Our expectations are to be focused be strong and have fun and get that victory. We are just going to practice hard have fun and do what we can."
