Guam - Guam Homeland Security and the Office of Civil Defense presented more than $700,000 worth of equipment to various agencies this morning. The Guam Police and Fire Departments, Public Health, the Guam International Airport, Mental Health, the Judiciary of Guam and the Attorney General's Office are the recipients of new Smart Net radios.
The Port Authority of Guam meanwhile also got a new Ford F-350 Crew Cab truck to haul watercraft and equipment within the port.
The Guam Fire Department also received equipment to improve their hazardous material detection capabilities as well as remote area lighting and thermal imaging detection capabilities that will help in search and rescue.
