Guam - The Guam Education Board's agenda include revisions to
Board Policy 337 in relation to health requirements for students to enroll and
play sports as well as the Okkodo
High School expansion
project. According to Department of Education deputy superintendent for
assessment and accountability Rob Malay, it's more cost efficient to expand
existing campuses verses building new ones.
Expanding the Dededo school could relieve overcrowding issues at
the island's other high schools. The board meeting is scheduled for 8:30am at
the Southern High School library in Santa Rita.
