Guam - Today was a special
day at the island's McDonald's restaurants. Chances are if you stopped by the
Harmon McDonald's to pick up your lunch, it's likely you saw a member of the
KUAM News team or i94-FM radio personality or even Dededo mayor Melissa Savares
or Barrigada mayor June Blas. The KUAM crew including our amazing sales staff
spent some time today raising money for the Ronald Mcdonald House Charities.
The fast food chain joins with restaurants across the nation in
this annual fundraising effort. You can still purchase a helping hand for just
a dollar to donate to this worthy cause.
And on a side note - we're proud that KUAM-TV beat out KUAM Radio
by raising the most money today! we raised several hundred dollars for a very
worthy cause we fully stand behind!
