Guam - Although the Consolidated Commission on Utilities approved
a resolution last week to rollback the Guam Power Authority's May rate
increase, you probably won't see the effect until you receive your December
bill in January next year. PUC legal counsel Fred Horecky says although GPA had
anticipated the petition to be discussed during Tuesday's PUC meeting, it has
yet to be filed and most likely won't be discussed until next month.
Horecky says the short notice is not enough time to review the
petition along with meeting open government rules.
