Three hospitalized after separate crashes

Guam - Three people are being treated at the Guam Memorial Hospital
after two separate serious crashes occurred late Saturday night and
early Sunday morning. Guam Fire Department spokesperson Ed Artero says
the first crash was reported around 11pm along route 15 near the Dime
mart in Mangilao. Police have not released details about this crash,
but Artero says five vehicles were involved and a total of seven
people were taken to GMH for treatment. The hospital's nursing
supervisor says two men remain in serious condition, while the others
were treated and discharged.

A separate crash was reported to 911 around 3am in Tamuning. Artero
says the crash happened on route 1 near K-Mart. There has also been no
information released about this crash that involved a scooter and
another vehicle. The man injured in this crash is in stable condition
at GMH.
