Guam - With the New Year
just around the corner, the Guam Hotel and Restaurant Association elected four
members to serve on its 2013 board of directors. Elected board members include
Starts Golf Resort's Noburu Izumi, Fiesta Resort Guam's Jeffrey Schweizer, The Baldyga
Group's Sudipta Basu, and First Hawaiian Bank's Laura Dacanay.
Looking ahead, GHRA president Mary Torre says the 2013 membership
will focus on training and languages. She says they'll be reviving Japanese
language courses and introducing Russian courses.
