Guam - An investigation
into the circumstances surrounding the death of an off-duty police officer is
still underway. Guam Police have not been able to determine the exact cause of
death of Police Officer One Gerard Perez who was found pinned under his jeep on
Wednesday.
Police had cordoned off a portion of the area where Perez was
found to conduct their investigation but released the scene back to the family
yesterday. Criminal Investigation Division agents are still waiting for an
autopsy to be conducted, as medical examiner Dr. Aurelio Espinola has been off-island.
